ANNA DESHAWN

Founder, E3 Radio

Anna DeShawn is a Chicago-born media professional and social entrepreneur. Ms. DeShawn is determined to ride media into its next era by utilizing online radio streams to tell the stories and play the music that need to be heard. Media has always been her passion, so she turned this passion into a reality when she founded E3 Radio. “E3 Radio exists so Black, Brown, & Queer folks can be centered and celebrated by a legit media platform,” according to Ms. DeShawn. 

She is also passionate about giving back. Anna currently serves as Board President for Affinity Community Services, a social justice organization serving the needs of the Black LGBTQ community of Chicago with a particular focus on Black women. In addition, Ms. DeShawn also serves on the communication team for the Church Within a Church Movement.

In no particular order, Anna identifies herself as a daughter, wife, sister, and friend who loves cooking and running.  You should also know that Anna has been in love with Good Morning America host, Robin Roberts all her life. “Interviewing Robin would be the ultimate.”
